Improving Communications. (11-12-2003)

You will know that we have recently introduced direct dial telephone numbers to make communications more direct and also to save time. Comments from both customers and suppliers alike have been extremely favourable and that makes the whole exercise (and investement) well worthwhile.

We would also like to point out that you can make direct contact via e-mail so please ask for any individual e-mail addresses you may require.

In Glasgow Louise Rennie and Andy McAllister have both joined to further improve the service.

Over the next few months further alterations will be made to the site to improve its operation.

The Trade Show Circuit. (15-09-2003)

Always on the lookout for new products or opportunities to further improve our service offer, the Trupart team 'hit the road' in the coming months as the Trade Shows approach.

First is the Equip Auto Show, Paris in October followed by the SEMA Show, Las Vegas in November. As yet it is still unclear as to whether a 'new' UK Trade Show will be held next year or if the Automotive Trade Show will return but Trupart will be exhibiting provided there is a show to attend.

Lighting and Door Mirror Catalogue. (01-09-2003)

The rapid sales growth of the Lighting and Door Mirror ranges, combined with ongoing range development has required another update of the Trupart catalogue. This is the second update within 12 months and is not just a reprint but a new edition following a full range review.

The catalogue features an extension of the Performance Lamps section and dozens of new applications.

DDI Telephone System. (26-08-2003)

Today we go live with our new Direct Dial telephone system.

Each department, and everyone in contact with customers will have a direct dial number to save callers' time and to again help improve service. If the person you want is on another call or is not available then you get the person on the next desk.

No frustrating voice mail, no waiting for that return call - but straight to your target or someone near by. At the moment we have to 'transfer' over 70% of all incoming calls and this uses everyone's time. Our target is to cut this to below 20% but to make this possible callers need to use the new DD numbers.

Listed below are a selection of popular DD number but if you need someone else just ask. And as you would expect you can still use the old numbers if you prefer.

Brake Disc and Drum Catalogue. (15-08-2003)

The Brake Disc and Drum programme was one of Trupart's original product ranges when the company started back in 1986 and it still deserves its status as one of our 'winning products'.

The latest catalogue now contains over 800 references covering thousands of vehicle applications and helps maintain Trupart as a leader within this sector.

Trupart Spoiler Range. (17-07-2003)

The latest addition to the Trupart 'Body' programme is a range of Spoilers. These are aftermarket items designed to replace those damaged during the normal life of the vehicle.

However, there is increasing demand from customers who wish to fit spoilers where they were not originally supplied as a standard item. "An easy and cost effective way to customise a car".
Why not ask for details?

Half Year Update. (05-07-2003)

The successes of 2002 have rolled over into the new-year with company revenues currently running at 15% up on the previous year. The domestic market is showing particularly strong growth although good progress has also been made in selected export markets.

No doubt some of the growth has been attributable to the demise of certain competitors over the last 12 months but the key reasons are believed to be Trupart's continued focus on market requirements and ongoing developments in customer service.

Wiper Blade developments. 12-05-2003)

Recent introductions to the Trupart Wiper programme include the TV650 and TV700 people carrier blades, fully rubber enclosed Snow Blades and the curved blades for certain VW and Audi applications.

A new catalogue will be available in time for the Autumn season

Red Nose Day (23-03-2003)

Staff in both Doncaster and Glasgow entered into the spirit of the Comic Relief activities this year with over £250 being raised.

'Contributions' were made for hair colouring, unusual clothes and dressing down. With 'fines' being paid for those too proud (?) to join in.

One chap in Glasgow even walked to the local McDonalds at lunchtime dressed as a bride. Normal week-end attire some said !

The latest addition to the 'new image' Trupart catalogues covers Water Pumps and is launched today.

Over 240 pages with over 500 references, the range has been updated and reflects the ever broadening requirements of the aftermarket.

New Company Image (25-02-2003)

All of the recently introduced catalogues have been in the new style and recently some product ranges have also benefited from the update

Electronic Cataloging. (27-01-2003)

Trupart has signed a long-term agreement with CCI Triad to facilitate the distribution of the company's catalogue content via MasterCat.
