Surplus Stocks
|
Trupart currently stocks in excess of 20,000 part numbers and
our product ranges are being updated continually. This is part of what is generally referred to as the “parts explosion”,
where each new vehicle requires its own specific parts as opposed to the days when just one part would fit many
different vehicle applications.
An unfortunate downside to the ever expanding ranges, [which is a direct consequence of vehicle manufacturers introducing
new models with new parts platforms and components,] is that stock management has become all the more difficult.
As we run our stocks down on part numbers for vehicles that are no longer produced, we often end up with surplus
stocks which are no longer required in the quantities previously stocked.
 Where as previously these
stocks would have been sold to a surplus stock warehouse, they will now be offered for sale to all comers via a
link to E-Bay.
